2025 Spring/Summer Youth Tryouts
Lifeline Elite Sports specializes in building players’ skills and confidence while challenging them to progress and be the best athlete (and person) they can possibly be. Our coaches are very experienced, having played basketball past the high school level. They are passionate about helping youth athletes develop basketball skills as well as an IQ for the game. Lifeline Elite Sports is a family. It doesn’t matter what your athlete’s incoming skill level is, they have a home here. We believe in DEVELOPING players, not just acquiring talent. Even the most talented athletes will become more skilled, increase their confidence and toughness, and have a better understanding of the game.
Teams range from 2nd grade through High School for both boys and girls. BOTH National and Select level teams are available for most age groups.
We will also have a Bulldog Summer Skills Session this year for boys and girls K-1st Grade. There are no tryouts for the Bulldog Summer Skills Session. Please sign up using the link and further communication will be provided.
Tryout Location: Brownell Talbot Scott Gymnasium (400 N. Happy Hollow Blvd., Omaha, NE)
Tryout Times: PLEASE REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THE CURRENT GRADE THEY ARE IN
- Boys and Girls Grades 2-4: 11A-12P
- Boys and Girls Grades 5-7: 12-1P
- Boys and Girls Grades 8-9: 1-2P
- Boys and Girls Grades 10-12: 2-3P
We are not perfect, but we strive to be our very best. We welcome you into our basketball family and have an open-door policy for communication.
Team Fees:
Team fees do not include uniforms. The fee differences between Select and National teams are based on tournament schedules and travel requirements. National Teams travel to two different overnight tournament locations. Distance from Omaha will vary based on competition level and opportunities. Middle and High School teams may be played on the Recruit Look or Prep Hoops Circuits based on competition level of the team.
Fees and arrangements for traveling are that of the player and their family. Program will provide discounted hotel blocks when available, but all players and families must book their own accommodations. Team fees do not include athlete travel costs.
Select Teams play only in Omaha and Lincoln and will not include any overnight stays.
ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES: Fees can be paid in full or in two payments. The first payment of $400 is due upon acceptance of team placement. Remaining balance is due April 12, 2025. Team fees do not include the uniform. Player must purchase uniforms upon team placement. Average cost of the uniform is $100 and includes home and away jersey and shorts.
Communication: Once teams are selected, all players will be rostered. You can find your team roster on the League Apps Play app. Please download for all coach-parent communication. This is where you will find practice schedules, game schedules, and important team information.
Lifeline Elite Sports understands that sometimes finances can be a barrier. While there are fixed costs in providing opportunities in basketball, we never want a child to miss an opportunity to grow and learn the game of basketball. We do have fundraising opportunities provided for athletes as well as a limited number of scholarships based on sponsor funds.
